The Vintage is one of the latest pocket watches to join Stuhrling Originals Special Reserve Collection. This fascinating timepiece features a case constructed from solid stainless steel with a step design bezel. The skeleton dial is cut away to reveal the elegant mechanical movement. It comes equipped with a 14 inch solid stainless steel chain

Manual Movement:

Watch enthusiasts are drawn toward manual mechanical watches due to the unobstructed view of the movement (automatic watches have a rotor). This pocket watch has a dual exhibition case, allowing the wearer a full view of this magnificent polished mechanical machine from all angles. Power this watch by manually winding the crown, which tightens the mainspring and stores energy in order to keep the movement running smoothly. Estimated power reserve for this movement is 30 hours, hand wind the watch daily to maintain accuracy.

Desk Stand:

This pocket watch can double as a desk clock with an integrated hinge allowing the watch to stand upright on a desk or any flat surface. No need to keep this veritable gem hidden in a waistcoat pocket!

Push/Pull onion crown & crownguard:

The round knob that sticks out from the top or side of the case, called the ‘couronne’ in French, is used to wind the mainspring and set the hands to the proper time. In the early days of watchmaking, this type of crown was considered to be the most desirable, for its beauty and ease of use. The enclosures within the crown guard help to prevent malfunctions and inaccuracies. The spherical shape with vertical grooves resemble an onion, inspiring the moniker.
